Sociologist of gender, health, and medicine
I am a Sociology Instructor at Walla Walla Community College. I completed my PhD in Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder. I study gender disparities in health and disability. Using qualitative and quantitative research methods, I advance understandings of neuropsychological conditions, women in medicine, and andragogy. I have 8+ years of teaching experience. Courses taught include Introduction to Sociology; Social Problems; Deviance in U.S. Society; Sex, Gender, and Society; Sexualities; Introduction to Social Psychology; Aging and Society; Drugs in U.S. Society; Medical Sociology; and Victimology.
